The Geelong Regional Library Corporation is proposing changes to the opening hours at some of its libraries and is inviting the community to have their say from 20 January – 29 February.

An update on the temporary closure of the Geelong West Library.

Today marks 60 years of a Geelong Library operating at 49-51 Little Malop Street, Geelong, the site on which the Geelong Library & Heritage Centre currently stands. Read on for a brief overview of the history of the Library.

Patrons are advised that Western Heights College Library will be closed on Thursday 5 September due to a Curriculum Day.

Mention the library and most people will think about borrowing a book rather than publishing their own. But for Geelong woman, Prue Moriarty, the library helped her to finish writing and publish her own book, The Hunt for Code Polaris, a psychological-thriller about espionage during the Cold War.
