Public holiday opening hours information

Please be advised that our libraries are closed on the following dates to observe public holidays according to their respective municipalities:

Friday 18 October - Geelong Show Day:
Bannockburn Library will be closed.
All other libraries and Mobile Libraries will be open and normal operating hours will apply on this date.

Wednesday 23 October - Geelong Cup Day:
All libraries located in the City of Greater Geelong will be closed.
The Bellarine and Surf Coast Mobile Library will not stop at Portarlington.
Torquay, Bannockburn and Queenscliff Libraries will be open and normal operating hours will apply on this date.

Tuesday 5 November - Melbourne Cup Day:
Queenscliff and Torquay Libraries will be closed.
The Bellarine and Surf Coast Mobile Library will not stop at Aireys Inlet or Lorne.
All other Geelong Regional Libraries branches will be open and normal operating hours will apply on this date.

The Golden Plains Mobile Library will operate a normal service on all dates throughout this period.

All libraries, with the exception of the Geelong Library will be closed on Monday 14 October for our annual staff training day. More information.
