We’d like to let you know about some changes to our digital magazine platforms.
Geelong Regional Libraries' members can now access digital magazines on the Libby (by Overdrive) platform, and RB Digital is no longer available through our eCollection.
Libby is a free and easy way to access the most recent magazine editions – it has a customer-friendly interface and there are no queues. The Libby app mimics the experience of the real thing, allowing you to flip through a digital magazine on your device as you would an actual magazine.
Explore more than 3,000 popular and special interest magazines from Australia and around the world. With nearly 1,000 titles in foreign languages, including Chinese, Russian and Arabic, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
Popular titles available in the Libby collection include:
Our library members also have access to PressReader, a fantastic – and free – digital resource which provides access to more than 7,000 international and local eMagazines and eNewspaper titles.
Both Libby and PressReader can be accessed via the library’s eCollection here, or by downloading the relevant app to your device and signing in using your library membership details. For help with accessing either resource and setting up an account, please speak to a member of staff at your local branch.
