Tuesday 1 December 2020

The Queenscliff Library will open tomorrow, Wednesday 2 December, at 18 Hesse Street, Queenscliff (‘The Tavern) to allow for construction of the Queenscliffe Hub.

Plans are progressing for the exciting new Queenscliffe Hub, which will house the Library, Museum and Visitor Information Centre. The new facility will be a wonderful resource and shared space for the Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale communities.

Services available from the temporary Queenscliff Library include:

•         Books, DVDs, magazines
•         Returns available between 9am to 5pm, 7 days a week
•         Hold collection
•         Click & Collect
•         Public access PC
•         Free 24 hour Wifi access for Library members

The Visitor Information Centre and Queenscliffe Historical Museum will also be housed at The Tavern to allow for construction of the Queenscliffe Hub.

Please be advised that holds may not be available to pick up immediately upon the Library re-opening. Library members will receive a notification when their reserved items are ready to be collected. Thank you for your patience.

We appreciate the patience and understanding of the Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale communities throughout this time and cannot wait to welcome you to the new Queenscliff temporary library.
