Sign up and win! Fun new membership cards especially for children

New members under 18 will receive one of four, limited-edition library cards designed by local artist Creative Co.

Available at all of our libraries, the new cards are colourful and fun, and are designed to encourage maximum borrowing!

It’s quick and easy to join - pop into your local library and sign up today.

Best of all, any new members who sign up between now and Friday 19 July will go in the running to win a MEGA prize pack, including vouchers for Geelong Arts Centre, Murran, Adventure Park, Tech Zone Geelong, Augustus Gelati.

There are three prizes up for grabs at EVERY library across the region (one each for ages 0-5, 6-12 and 12-18) including movie tickets, sessions at Rollerway, ice-cream vouchers, MOPA tickets, musical instruments and more.

Because these cards are limited, your favourite may not be available at your local library - get in quick before they run out!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • By participating in this competition, you agree to the following terms and conditions
  • The competition opens on Thursday 20 June and the competition closes at midnight Friday 19 July 2024
  • Only new members are eligible for the prizes
  • Entries received after the closing time and date will be deemed ineligible.
  • Entrants are the parents or guardians of the children. 
  • To enter this competition, you must join as a new member. Under no circumstances will GRLC share any entrant’s personal information with any third parties, partners or affiliates.
  • By entering this competition, you warrant to GRLC that you are eligible to enter this competition based on these terms and conditions. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms and conditions, you should not enter the competition or accept any prize resulting from entry into the competition.
  • Employees and their immediate families of the Geelong Regional Library Corporation are ineligible to enter.
  • GRLC reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions. Failure by GRLC to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  • The use of false names (being names by which the entrant is not usually known) or false addresses will result in disqualification.
  • Only one entry permitted per child.
  • The winners will be drawn by  and notified by contact details supplied - entrants must supply an email and/or phone number. 

    PRIZES
  • Three winners will be drawn at every library, and will win one prize each.
  • Prizes are final and no exchanges or swaps will be possible
  • One major winner for the Mega Prize Pack will be drawn at random and notified by email/phone number supplied. 
  • If we are unable to contact the winner to confirm acceptance of the prize by 25 July the prize will be forfeited and the next winner drawn.
  • Tickets must be collected by the winner from their nominated library.
