At its Board meeting held on Thursday 19 April 2024, the Geelong Regional Library Corporation (GRLC) resolved to place the Draft Budget 2024-25 and Strategic Resource Plan 2024-28 on public exhibition in preparation for adoption on Thursday 20 June 2024. The Draft Budget indicates the levels of recurrent income and expenditure, the capital works projects to be undertaken during the year and the level of expenditure on library materials in support of the Strategic Resource Plan 2024-28. In accordance with the Local Government Act 1989, a copy of the Draft Budget is available for inspection on our website here until Monday 20 May 2024. Any person may make a written submission regarding this document in accordance with section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989. They, or their representative, may request to present the submission at a Special Meeting to be held on Thursday 6 June 2024 at 5:30pm. Submissions must be lodged no later than close of business Monday 20 May 2024 to the Chief Executive Officer via: info@grlc.vic.gov.au or posted to: Attn: Chief Executive Officer, Geelong Regional Library Corporation, 51 Little Malop Street, Geelong VIC 3200. Following consideration of any submissions, GRLC will meet to adopt the Draft Budget at its Board Meeting on Thursday 20 June 2024 at 5:30pm.
