Budget 2021-22 and Strategic Resource Plan 2021-2025

At its Board meeting held on 22 April 2021, the Geelong Regional Library Corporation (GRLC) resolved to place the Draft Budget 2021-22 and Strategic Resource Plan 2021-2025 on public exhibition in preparation for adoption on 17 June 2021.

The Draft Budget indicates the levels of recurrent income and expenditure, the capital works projects to be undertaken during the year and the level of expenditure on library materials in support of the Strategic Resource Plan. 

In accordance with the Local Government Act 1989, a copy of the Draft Budget is available for inspection on our website until Friday 21 May 2021.  Any person may make a written submission on these documents in accordance with section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989.  They, or their representative, may request to present the submission at a Special Meeting to be held on Thursday, 27 May 2021 at 5:30pm. 

Submissions must be lodged no later than close of business Friday, 21 May 2021 to the Chief Executive Officer via info@grlc.vic.gov.au.  

Following consideration of any submissions, GRLC will meet to adopt the Draft Budget and Strategic Resource Plan at its Board Meeting on 17 June 2021 at 5:00 pm.
