THE SEED LIBRARY

Geelong Regional Libraries' Seed Library is now available for you to obtain free seeds for your garden and help build a collection of seeds for others!

Share seeds with the Seed Library, grow your knowledge, and foster a culture of sharing among a community of gardeners and seed growers of all ages.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • BORROW - Up to 3 seed packets.
  • PLANT - grow in your garden.
  • DONATE - your seeds back to the Seed Library once you've nurtured your plants to maturity.

The Seed Library is currently available at Bannockburn, Biyal-a Armstrong Creek, Colac, Boronggook Drysdale, Newcomb, Ocean Grove, and Torquay Libraries.

The roving Seed Library box will be located at Geelong West, Geelong Library & Heritage Centre and Apollo Bay Libraries from September until November 2024.

We have a curated collection of Seed Library Resources, to provide support to you in the Seed growing journey.
