Public Library Census

Tuesday 24 May 2022

A Public Library Census today, Tuesday 24 May 2022 in libraries across Victoria. It will capture information about every Victorian who uses their local library on Census Day – who they are and what they did at the library.

This information about ‘a day in the life’ of your libraries will be used to improve library services and help to ensure that all Victorians have access to welcoming, engaging and sustainable library services.

If you are visiting one of our libraries today, we thank you in advance for your participation. Library staff can assist you with completing the Census either online (using this link) or on paper.
