Unfortunately, there has been significant flooding to the Geelong Library & Heritage Centre.
This means that when we reopen on Thursday 2 January, only the ground floor of the library will be open until further notice.
We hope that other levels will open from Monday 6 January and will update here on our website and also on social media when we know more.
Kim barne thaliyu / Geelong Heritage Centre will remain closed until further notice whilst the carpet is replaced. There is no damage to our heritage collections and records.
Luckily, the majority of the books and collection items have not been damaged. There is no impact to our school holiday program at this stage.
