Book club information 

If you’re a member of a book club or would like to create one, we can help with book kits specially chosen for book clubs available for loan.

Browse our book club kits spanning several genres, fiction, and non-fiction, classic and contemporary.

• Each kit includes 10-12 copies of the one title with discussion notes
• Kits cost $10 to loan, payable on pickup from your library
• Each book club kit is stored in a convenient carry bag
• Book club kits may only be borrowed using a book club membership card
• Book club kits are on loan for 6 weeks, this allows for 2 weeks for pickup and return of the kit. You cannot renew book club kits.

Your book club will need a coordinator, and that person is responsible for all items in a kit, including borrowing and returns and organising payment for the kit and for any overdue, lost or damaged items. The coordinator will be issued a dedicated card for borrowing book club kits.

You can place a request for a book club kit in the catalogue and collect it from your nominated Geelong Regional Libraries’ location. You’ll be notified when the kit is ready and our friendly library staff at the library front desk can help you.
