Please note: Due to the forecasted extreme heat over the next few days, Torquay Library is temporarily extending opening hours as follows:

Sunday 2 February – 1.30pm-6pm
Monday 3 February – 10am-6pm
Tuesday 4 February – 10am-6pm

Monday: 10am – 5.30pm

Tuesday: 10am – 5.30pm

Wednesday: 10am – 5.30pm

Thursday: 10am – 5.30pm

Friday: 10am – 5:30pm

Saturday: 10am – 1pm

Sunday: 1:30pm – 4pm

About

A substantial upgrade almost doubled the available floor area in the Torquay Library, providing more space for seating and programs, shelf space for collections, plus an increase to 12 public use computers with internet access. The refurbished library was officially opened on 13 February 2013 by the Hon Jeanette Powell MP and the Surf Coast Mayor Libby Coker. Located in Beach Road, in the north west corner of Surf City, the entrance is located beside the Surf World Museum and Community Hall.
