We’re very pleased to advise that the Geelong West Library and the City of Greater Geelong’s Geelong West Customer Service Centre has reopened this morning (Monday 23 September). We would like to again thank the Geelong West community for their patience and understanding during the closure.
Following extensive cleaning and repair work undertaken by the City of Greater Geelong, independent testing confirmed that the mould was restricted to a small area, and that no other areas of the building had been affected. Air and surface testing in multiple other locations returned safe readings. A clearance certificate, confirming that the building is fit for occupancy, was gained before the City re-opened the Library.
