ABC Radio National's second annual Big Weekend of Books festival is taking place on the air waves and online over August 28-29, 2021. Big Weekend of Books features top local and international writers in discussion such as Holly Ringland, Colm Toibin, Alice Pung, Douglas Stuart, Lisa Taddeo, Andrew O’Hagan, Marina Warner, Craig Silvey, David Mitchell, Imran Mahmood, Brendan Cowell and more.

There will be more hands-on sessions too — including a writing masterclass with one of Australia’s finest authors.

  • Bethany Community Support's COVID-19 Support Line provides a free phone counselling service for those experiencing stress and anxiety as a result of the pandemic. Bethany counsellors will listen to you, provide support, advice and helpful strategies as well as guide you to other services that might be useful for your particular situation. Call 1300 655 598, Monday-Friday, 10am-3pm.
